India Triumphs at World Deaf Shooting Championship

India's Mahit Sandhu won the gold medal in the women's 50m rifle prone event, while Abhinav Deshwal secured silver in the men's 25m pistol at the World Deaf Shooting Championship in Hanover, Germany. These achievements boost India's medal tally to 15, including four gold, seven silver, and four bronze medals.

India’s Mahit Sandhu clinched the gold medal in the women’s 50m rifle prone event, while Abhinav Deshwal secured silver in the men’s 25m pistol on the fifth day of the World Deaf Shooting Championship in Hanover, Germany.

These victories have raised India’s total medal count to 15, comprising four gold, seven silver, and four bronze medals.

This marks Sandhu’s second gold and her third overall medal at the championship, previously having won gold in the mixed 10m air rifle event alongside Dhanush Srikanth and a silver in the 10m air rifle individual event.
