Canadiens defenseman Weber exits with injury

Canadiens defenseman Shea Weber sustained an upper-body injury during Montreal's home game against the Minnesota Wild on Monday, and he didn't return to the ice after the first period. The injury apparently took place when Weber slid to block a shot from Minnesota's Mikael Granlund, and the puck bounced into Weber's face. Weber quickly skated to the bench in the aftermath of the play. Weber has six goals and six assists in 19 games for the Canadiens this season. The veteran defenseman missed Montreal's first 24 games while recovering from offseason knee surgery.
