India's men’s and women’s compound archery teams have advanced to the finals of the World Cup Stage 2, assuring themselves of two medals. While the compound teams shone with victories over top opponents, the country's recurve section endured challenges, with only Dhiraj Bommadevara achieving a top-10 ranking.

India's compound archery teams have demonstrated stellar performance by qualifying for the finals of the World Cup Stage 2, clinching assured medals for the nation. Both the men's and women's teams displayed exceptional skill, navigating through fierce competition to set the stage for Saturday's gold-medal matches against Mexico.

The men's team, comprising Ojas Deotale, Abhishek Verma, and Rishabh Yadav, showcased resilience, notably conquering Great Britain and Denmark in hard-fought matches, gaining a berth in the finals. Likewise, the women's team, including Madhura Dhamangaonkar, Chikitha Taniparthi, and Jyothi Surekha Vennam, triumphed over Kazakhstan and Great Britain to secure their spot.

Despite these compound successes, India's recurve archers had less fortune. Dhiraj Bommadevara was a bright spot, finishing ninth in men's qualifiers, while veterans like Tarundeep Rai and Atanu Das faltered. In the women's qualifiers, Deepika Kumari led the team to a respectable position despite the stiff international competition.
