Rajasthan Pioneers Sports and Solar Innovation
The Rajasthan Cabinet has approved the establishment of the Maharana Pratap Sports University in Jaipur, focusing on developing world-class sports talent. Amendments to pension rules and revisions to NRI quota fees in medical colleges were also sanctioned. Additionally, land for 5,200 MW solar power projects was allocated, boosting renewable energy and jobs.

In a significant move, the Rajasthan Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, endorsed the creation of the Maharana Pratap Sports University in Jaipur, intending to nurture world-class sports talent.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa announced that the proposed bill will soon be presented in the state assembly. The initiative aims to provide cutting-edge sports science, technology, and coaching facilities.
Revisions to NRI quota fees in medical colleges under RajMES were also approved, along with land allocation for a 5,200 MW solar power project, promoting renewable energy growth and local employment.
