Pranjali Dhumal Shines: Triple Medal Triumph at Deaflympics

Indian shooter Pranjali Dhumal won her third medal at the Deaflympics, claiming gold in the women's 25m pistol event. Previously, she won gold in the mixed pistol event and silver in the women's air pistol. She broke the world deaf qualification record and the Deaflympics record during her qualification round.

Indian shooter Pranjali Prashant Dhumal delivered an outstanding performance to clinch gold in the women's 25m pistol event at the Deaflympics, marking her third medal at the games.

Earlier, Dhumal bagged gold alongside Abhinav Deshwal in the mixed pistol event and secured a silver in the women's air pistol category. On this occasion, she faced stiff competition from Mosina Halyna of Ukraine, who secured silver, and Korea's Jeon Jiwon, who took the bronze.

Dhumal's journey to gold was cemented by setting a new qualification world and Deaflympics record with a score of 573 out of 600. Her remarkable performance highlights India's success at the Deaflympics, adding to the tally of 16 shooting medals, which includes seven golds.
