Additionally, the club was forced to forfeit the abandoned match, awarding a 0-3 victory to Sparta.
Slavia Prague released a statement acknowledging the league's disciplinary action, expressing awareness of their responsibilities in organizing the match. The incident, which saw Slavia fans launching flares and assaulting Sparta players, drew widespread attention globally as video footage went viral. Slavia chairman Jaroslav Tvrdik labeled the event a disgrace and announced the indefinite closure of the North Tribune, occupied by the club's most fervent supporters.
