Teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is named in India A's 15-member squad for a tri-nation 50-over series in Sri Lanka, featuring Afghanistan A. The squad, averaging 23 years in age, includes emerging talents from IPL and experienced players. India A will also play two 'Tests' in Galle.
Teenage cricket prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made the headlines, being named in the India A squad for the upcoming tri-nation series in Sri Lanka.
The promising cricketer will get a chance to shine in the 50-over tournament featuring hosts Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A, as selectors assess his readiness for future senior call-ups.
With an average squad age of 23, India A aims to nurture young talent, notably including numerous IPL participants. The series starts June 9 in Dambulla, with 'Tests' in Galle to follow later.
