Mohammad Abu Ghosh has been called up to Jordan's World Cup squad as a replacement for the injured Ibrahim Sabra, according to the Jordan Football Association (JFA). The announcement came on Monday.

Sabra, a forward, was forced to withdraw from the team due to a torn ankle ligament, making way for the 20-year-old Abu Ghosh. This marks Abu Ghosh's debut as he joins Jamal Sellami’s 26-man squad.

Jordan, competing in their first World Cup, are in Group J. They will face tough fixtures against teams including Austria, Algeria, and reigning champions Argentina.
