Tiger Woods' former instructor Hank Haney has been suspended by the SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio channel, a day after making disparaging remarks about women's professional golf during his program. Woods shoots 70 as Moore leads Memorial after round one

Moore birdied five of the first seven holes to set a cracking pace, posting a seven-under 65 to head Jordan Spieth by one stroke as Woods ended the round equal 23rd.
Blues C Sundqvist suspended one game for boarding
The NHL suspended St. Louis Blues forward Oskar Sundqvist for one playoff game for boarding Boston Bruins defenseman Matt Grzelcyk during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. The league's Department of Player Safety announced the ruling Thursday, one day after the Blues evened the series at one game apiece. Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday night in St. Louis.

Football Federation Australia board director Heather Reid issued a public apology to former national women's team coach Alen Stajcic on Friday for fuelling speculation that his shock sacking in January was for misconduct. Stajcic, now coach of the A-League's Central Coast Mariners, said his reputation had been left in tatters after he was peremptorily fired just five months before the women's World Cup.
