Indian Bank, Chennai will take on Indian Army (Delhi) in the final of the 55th All India Basketball Championship for men for the PSG Trophy here on Tuesday. While Indian Bank edged out Indian Air Force 81-77 in the semifinal on Monday, the Army team outplayed Kerala State Electricity Board 70-47 in the other last four clash.
The bank team and IAF were neck and neck with the former ahead by two points till the final moments of the first semi-finals, before the Chennai-based team pulled off an exciting win. While Hariram and Baladhaneswar scored 18 points each for the winners, Joginder Singh and Nkhil Dahiya played well and had 25 and 18 points respectively for the losers..
