He said some groups, such as airports like Britain's Heathrow, were acting as monopolies towards airlines.

"We will be very strong and aggressive in opposing this," Walsh told an online press conference on Wednesday. "We will expect economic regulators and governments to recognise the need to step in and ensure that this sort of behaviour, which is clearly not acceptable, but is not tolerated."
