India's leading telco Bharti Airtel has introduced an "unlimited 5G data" offer for its customers, aimed at motivating them to experience the potential of the Airtel 5G Plus network, without worrying about data exhaustion.

The unlimited data offer is available to all postpaid customers and prepaid customers with a data plan of Rs. 239 and above. To claim the offer, log on to the Airtel Thanks App.

With the removal of data usage limits across all existing plans, customers can now enjoy ultrafast, reliable, and secure 5G Plus services without worrying about running out of data., the telco said in a press release on Friday.

In addition to offering unlimited 5G data, Airtel has launched 5G experience zones across all its retail stores in the country, allowing customers to experience its ultrafast 5G network.

"We are obsessed with delighting our customers with best-in-class products and services. This introductory offer is in line with the philosophy of wanting our customers to be able to surf, stream, chat and enjoy multiple benefits at blazing speeds without having to worry about data limits. We hope our customers enjoy the power of world-class Airtel 5G Plus," said Shashwat Sharma, Director Consumer Business, Bharti Airtel.

For the unversed, Airtel 5G Plus offers three key benefits to customers: compatibility with all 5G smartphones in India due to its widely accepted technology, a superior user experience with faster speeds - between 20 to 30 times higher speeds than 4G - and an eco-friendly approach with its power reduction solution.

Airtel 5G Plus is currently available to customers in more than 270 cities across India. The company has recently surpassed the 10 million customer mark on its 5G network nationally and is working towards providing 5G coverage across the entire country and is well-positioned to extend its services to every town and significant rural area by March 2024.
