OnePlus Nord 3 receiving September 2023 security patch

The OnePlus Nord 3 has started receiving a new software update, labelled OxygenOS 13.1.0.581, that bumps up the device's Android security patch level to September 2023 and also brings a couple of improvements.

As per the changelog shared by the company on the OnePlus Community forums, this update brings battery improvements by reducing power consumption when the device is idle and when certain apps are in use.

The OnePlus Nord 3 comes with a 6.74-inch Super Fluid AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz, providing a smooth and responsive user experience. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and runs OxygenOS.

The OnePlus Nord 3 features a triple-camera setup on the rear, with the main 50-megapixel camera using the Sony IMX890 sensor. The second camera is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens is available for close-up shots. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
