Airtel 5G Plus services now available in 40 districts of UP West & Uttarakhand

Bharti Airtel, India's largest integrated communications solutions provider, has extended 5G coverage to all 40 districts of Uttar Pradesh West & Uttarakhand, empowering 2.3 million customers to experience the power of 5G. The telco has achieved this milestone within just 12 months of the launch.

"We were the first telco to deploy high-speed 5G technology in the state, and today we are delighted to be playing an important role in connecting lives of our customers. We thank all our 2.3 million customers for embracing the Airtel 5G Plus network. Our 5G landscape has the state's widest, quickest, and most dependable network, encompassing all 40 districts in Uttar Pradesh West & Uttarakhand," said Sovan Mukherjee - CEO Uttar Pradesh, Bharti Airtel.

Airtel said its 5G network is live across all districts in the region - from the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra, the heritage-rich cities of Mathura and Vrindavan, the famous Gandhi Baug in Meerut, the iconic Clock tower in Dehradun to the beautiful hill station of Mussoorie. The company has also brought the massive Jhansi Fort and Agra Fort onto the digital superhighway.

Meanwhile, Airtel has announced the availability of its 5G service in all 34 districts of Maharashtra, with 4.1 million unique 5G customers embracing its services.

Airtel's 5G service is now available across all districts and union territories in the country. Recently, the company also introduced Airtel Xstream Air Fiber, a wireless home Wi-Fi service powered by Airtel 5G Plus, in Delhi and Mumbai. The service promises speeds up to 1 Gbps with convergence across linear and on-demand entertainment, streaming services spanning music and video, digital payments and financial services.
