Nilekani highlighted the global regulatory landscape for AI, urging enterprises to develop compliant applications amidst rapidly changing technological benchmarks. ‘Given that the leaderboard of technologies will be changing at a bewildering pace, enterprises will have to 'future-proof' their AI infrastructure with suitable abstractions to be able to switch models easily and not be trapped in a technological cul de sac,’ he noted.

Nilekani pointed out the need for both experimental AI foundries and scalable AI factories, advocating for a holistic AI architecture that balances analytical rigor with intuitive insights. He dismissed AI doomsday scenarios, positing that the real power of AI will emerge from leveraging diverse models and tools to address complex business and societal challenges.
