IET Future Tech Congress 2024: Solving India’s Component Conundrum

The IET has opened registrations for its 2024 Future Tech Congress, themed 'India’s Component Conundrum.' Scheduled for 2nd September, the event aims to create a robust ESDM manufacturing system in India, discussing key technologies and their impacts on healthcare, manufacturing, and mobility, while fostering networking opportunities.

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has officially opened registrations for its upcoming annual flagship event, the IET Future Tech Congress. Scheduled for September 2, 2024, this year’s congress focuses on 'India’s Component Conundrum,' emphasizing the need to establish a robust ESDM manufacturing ecosystem in the country.

Country Head and Director of IET India, Shekhar Sanyal, highlighted the importance of the event, stating, 'The IET has always been focused on exploring cutting-edge technologies that will shape the future. This year's theme addresses India’s urgent need for a strong ESDM ecosystem, presenting both opportunities and challenges for discussion.'

The Future Tech Congress will draw together industry leaders, academia, and policymakers to engage in thought-provoking dialogues on key technologies such as Generative AI, Industrial Metaverse, and Quantum Technologies. The event will also feature a special Healthcare Experience zone and ample networking opportunities, aiming to accelerate India’s journey towards a $30 trillion economy by 2047.
