This decision, official sources indicated, follows a memorandum of understanding signed with the Karnataka government involving a land allocation by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah highlighted that this strategic move firmly places Karnataka within the global semiconductor manufacturing sphere, underscoring the state's growing significance in this high-tech industry.
