In a strategic move to bolster its operations, Lam Research has secured a land parcel from the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) for this investment. The formal announcement was part of the Invest Karnataka 2025 inaugural event.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah highlighted the significance of this investment, stating that it positions Karnataka at the core of the global semiconductor ecosystem. The move by Lam Research, a U.S.-based firm renowned for its semiconductor manufacturing tools, signifies confidence in Karnataka's growing potential in this sector.
