Canva, the graphic design platform, has emerged as one of India's top four markets, according to a senior company official on Thursday. The company intends to bolster local content offerings as part of its strategy to enhance its presence in the region.
Chandrika Deb, Canva's Country Manager for India, disclosed during a roundtable discussion that the company doubled its Indian workforce last year, although specific figures were not released.
India's growth trajectory saw it elevate from the fifth to the fourth largest market for Canva. The focus on extending reach among various user groups, including consumers, small businesses, and educational institutions, has driven consistent double-digit growth, Deb noted.
