Raptee.HV's T30: Pioneering Electric Motorcycles with High-Voltage Innovation

Raptee.HV, a Chennai-based electric two-wheeler startup, has become the only electric vehicle OEM to receive non-dilutive funding from the Indian government for its high-voltage powertrain. The company's flagship motorcycle, the T30, supports CCS2-DC fast-charging and has achieved sales targets with over 8,000 registrations.

Chennai's electric two-wheeler startup, Raptee.HV, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the sole electric vehicle OEM to secure non-dilutive funding from the Automotive Research Association of India and the Ministry of Heavy Industries. The funding aims to foster development of Raptee's innovative high-voltage powertrain technology.

The startup's flagship model, the T30, has not only received official certification but also boasts over 8,000 registrations since its October 2024 debut. This electric motorcycle stands out as the only two-wheeler in India capable of utilizing the CCS2-DC fast-charging standard, commonly employed by electric cars.

Raptee.HV has paved new ground in the electric motorcycle sector by designing a patented high-voltage powertrain. The company has revamped its manufacturing capabilities with the acquisition of 40 acres of land at SIPCOT, Cheyyar, enhancing its existing 4.5-acre facility. With plans to deliver the T30 in Chennai and Bengaluru soon, Raptee.HV is poised to expand their market reach further.
