China issues 4 billion euros worth of sovereign bonds in Luxembourg

China issued 4 billion euros ($4.63 billion) worth of sovereign bonds in Luxembourg on Tuesday, with the offering attracting demand reaching 100.1 billion euros, the finance ministry said on Wednesday.

The bonds were issued in two tranches, including 2 billion euros in four-year bonds at 2.401% and another 2 billion euros in seven-year tranche at 2.702%, the ministry said. ($1 = 0.8639 euros)
