Tesla, the leading electric vehicle manufacturer, announced the opening of its first charging station in Gurugram at the DLF Horizon Center. This launch marks a critical step in Tesla's strategy to develop a comprehensive EV infrastructure across India, enabling easy and sustainable driving for its users.
According to Tesla India General Manager Sharad Agarwal, the initiative aligns with the company's mission to foster an ecosystem that accelerates the transition to a sustainable future. He emphasized that creating a robust network of charging stations is as crucial as the EVs themselves.
This Gurugram site features four V4 Superchargers and three destination chargers, providing versatile charging options for Tesla owners. Tesla reports that a Model Y can gain 275 km of range in just 15 minutes when using a Supercharger, highlighting the efficiency and convenience of their system.
