Karnataka and Dusseldorf Forge Innovation Partnership
Karnataka and Dusseldorf have signed a Letter of Intent to boost cooperation in innovation and technology. The aim is to support startups from both regions by enhancing market access and building institutional partnerships. The government of Karnataka has made strides towards boosting its innovation and startup ecosystem by signing a Letter of Intent with the City of Dusseldorf in Germany. The agreement focuses on enhancing bilateral cooperation in technology-led growth and innovation.
Signed by the Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology in Karnataka, the Letter of Intent aims to develop structured pathways for market access, along with soft-landing opportunities and ecosystem integration for startups. The initiative aligns under Karnataka's Global Innovation Alliance to foster long-term institutional and technological partnerships.
IT Minister Priyank Kharge emphasized the significance of Germany as a key global innovation partner for Karnataka. Meanwhile, Stephan Keller, the Mayor of Dusseldorf, expressed his support for innovation-led collaboration, which is expected to create scalable and lasting value across borders.
