The lab aims to provide students and researchers with practical exposure to cutting-edge systems, including 5G networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and edge computing. This initiative is a significant step towards skill development, regional research, and creating solutions tailored to local needs.
In alignment with India's Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat visions, the lab is designed to bolster domestic capabilities in next-generation communication technologies. It will also promote collaboration between academia and industry, with applications benefiting healthcare, education, agriculture, and disaster management in the region.
