Two contractual employees have been taken into custody for allegedly stealing AI wearable devices from a tech summit. The incident occurred at the AI Impact Summit in Bharat Mandapam, where the individuals were hired for videography duties.

The suspects, identified as Manish Nagar and Ashish Mahariya, reportedly mistook the devices for pen drives, believing they could be useful for personal purposes. The devices belong to the Bengaluru-based startup NeoSapien and were reported missing by Dhananjay Yadav, the company's co-founder and CEO.

Authorities used CCTV footage and technical surveillance to track down the accused. The stolen devices have since been recovered and seized, with further investigations underway.
