In a bid to bolster defence ties, Poland is keen to expand its collaboration with India, focusing specifically on advanced drone technologies, says a Polish Foreign Ministry official.
According to Michal Baranowski, Under Secretary in Poland's Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the aim is to see India as a strategic partner rather than just a market. He highlighted Poland's cutting-edge drone capabilities, which have already been shared with India during Operation Sindoor.
Baranowski further mentioned the EU-India FTA and noted Poland's intention to elevate its economic relations with India to new heights. Amidst the ongoing US-Iran conflict impacting global energy supplies, he expressed hope for a swift return to diplomacy.
