Entrepreneurs First (EF), a global pioneer in tech company building, has successfully raised $200 million to further its mission of identifying and nurturing exceptional Indian tech talent for creating globally significant companies. The Bengaluru-based program, under the leadership of Rahul Samat, is focused on transforming aspiring founders into successful entrepreneurs by guiding them from idea formation to securing initial funding.
The new investment comes from notable technology founders and institutional investors, including Reid Hoffman and Greylock. This capital infusion will reinforce EF's strategy of tapping into deep pools of technical and entrepreneurial talent, particularly from prestigious institutions in India and globally.
EF's approach includes relocating pre-seed funded companies to the Bay Area to maximize their growth potential. Since the relocation strategy began, the time to raise funds has halved, and company valuations have doubled. Some of EF India's standout success stories include startups like Unbox Robotics and Unsiloed AI.
