CCSH Corporation, the parent company of Yangtze Memory Technologies Co., is advancing towards a major public listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, seeking to raise 33 billion yuan ($4.9 billion). This move comes as an AI-driven surge revitalizes China's previously struggling memory-chip sector.
The Shanghai Stock Exchange has approved CCSH's application to list on its STAR Market, a board designed for technology companies. This follows successful listings by peers like ChangXin Memory Technologies and Unitree, reflecting strong investor interest in firms central to China's tech independence drive.
CCSH plans to issue up to 2.43 billion new shares, targeting a post-listing valuation of up to 330 billion yuan ($49 billion). Proceeds will fund production upgrades and R&D, though geopolitical risks and export control challenges remain concerns for the company.
