Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs.624.80 crore in 21 trades. Top securities (nn-repo) traded at the WDM were: The 364-days Treasury bills issue no.08819 traded value of Rs 50.00 crore at a weighted yield of 7.28 percent.
During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 2,498.68 crore and the total number of trades was 73. The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs.1,272.00 crore as Aug 14, while the lowest was at Rs 624.80 crore as on Aug 16.
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 7.56 percent, 7.77 percent, 7.80 percent and 8.00 respectively. The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 0-90 days and 183-365 days were 6.67 percent and the 7.28 percent respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 1,301.38 crore, representing 52.08 percent of the total traded value. Trading in non-government securities was at Rs1,197.30 crore, representing 47.92 percent, an NSE release said.
