Automaker Skoda Auto on Monday said its newly introduced mid-sized SUV Kushaq has crossed the 10,000 booking mark in the country.

The model has bolstered the growth of the company in India, it noted.

The company said it has decided to equip the automatic STYLE variants with six airbags (both 1.0L and 1.5L) and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) at an incremental cost of around Rs 40,000.

''Despite unprecedented pressures caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the supply challenges, we are delighted to announce that we have crossed the 10,000 bookings milestone for the Skoda Kushaq.
