Chinese stocks open lower, Shanghai Composite Index drops 0.55 pc

Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.55 per cent to open at 2,621.24 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.62 per cent lower at 7,650.17 points, Xinhua news agency reported.
