Britain's RMT union votes to accept new pay offer

Members of Britain's RMT trade union for rail workers have accepted a pay offer following more than a year of planned strike action across the transport network, the union said on Thursday.

"Our members have spoken in huge numbers to accept this offer and I want to congratulate them on their steadfastness in this long industrial campaign," RMT General Secretary Mick Lynch said in statement.
