Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin met with UAE Minister for Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri to discuss investment opportunities in various sectors. The discussions highlighted logistics, retail, and affordable housing, with a specific focus on MSMEs and job creation. The meeting was attended by key officials from both sides.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin and UAE Minister for Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri met at the Secretariat on Thursday to explore investment possibilities in multiple sectors, notably MSMEs and job creation.
The talks with the leading 30-member UAE delegation covered sectors such as logistics, retail, and affordable housing.
'Delighted to host H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of @EconomyAE, today at the Secretariat,' Stalin posted on social media platform X. He praised the UAE minister as a great friend of Tamil Nadu and highlighted their discussions on business and investment during his March 2022 visit to the UAE.
State Industries Minister T R B Rajaa, Chief Secretary Shiv Das Meena, and senior Tamil Nadu government officials, alongside representatives from the UAE Embassy and international business groups, attended the meeting.
