Gumuseli brings 20 years of experience and will oversee the passenger business for diverse countries including India, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. He will be based in Dubai starting August 1.
European air carrier Air France-KLM has named Stefan Gumuseli as the new General Manager for the India-Middle East markets, effective August 1. Gumuseli, who will be stationed at the regional office in Dubai, brings with him a wealth of experience spanning over two decades in various strategic roles within the company.
Gumuseli will manage the passenger business for a range of culturally diverse countries such as India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Egypt, among others. The move is set to bolster Air France-KLM's presence and commitment to sustainability in a region seen as having immense potential and opportunities.
Previously, Gumuseli held prominent positions in markets including Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria, and most recently served as General Manager for regions including the Mediterranean, Germany, and the Mid Americas. His vast experience is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing customer proximity and expanding the airline's footprint in these key markets.
