Airlines Adjust Middle East Services Amid Rising Tensions

Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, various international airlines have adjusted their services by canceling or suspending flights to regions such as Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Amman. Major carriers like Air France-KLM, Delta Air Lines, and Lufthansa are among those affected, citing safety concerns and operational restrictions.

The Greek airline AEGEAN canceled all flights to and from Beirut, Amman, and Tel Aviv until Aug. 19, while Latvia's airBaltic and India's Air India have also suspended flights to Tel Aviv until further notice. Other airlines, including Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa Group, have steered clear of Iranian and Iraqi airspace due to heightened risks. The British government has advised UK airlines against entering Lebanese airspace, reflecting the widespread disruption in the aviation sector.
