Following a meeting with Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi, Majhi confirmed that Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the highway projects would be prepared soon.

The approved projects include widening the Bhubaneswar-Puri highway to six lanes, the Chandikhole-Barbil highway to eight lanes, the Khurda-Nayagarh highway to four lanes, and the Kesinga-Junagarh highway to four lanes. State Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan and Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja were also part of the discussions.
