Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Friday directed the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to develop and implement a mechanism to regularly notify members about their deductions.
This move aims to enhance transparency in Employee Provident Fund (EPF) deductions and build trust between employers and employees, according to the Minister for Labour & Employment. Mandaviya emphasized the need for a robust and transparent system for all members regarding their EPF deductions.
He has instructed the EPFO officials to establish an efficient and timely digital mechanism that would regularly notify employees about the provident fund deductions made from their salaries. Mandaviya highlighted that such measures are crucial for building trust between employers and employees, improving transparency, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the provident fund system in India.
