Pixelloid Studios Wins Emmy for VFX Mastery in Disney's 'Shogun'

HYDERABAD, INDIA—Pixelloid Studios, a prominent visual effects firm headquartered in Hyderabad, has clinched an Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Special Visual Effects' for their work on Disney's 'Shogun'. The series has garnered a total of 18 Emmy awards this season, making it a record-holder for the most awards won by a show in a single season.
Pixelloid's team of 150 skilled artists contributed over 2,800 VFX shots to bring the era of feudal Japan to life. The partnership was spearheaded by Michael Cliett, the show's VFX Supervisor, who has worked previously with Pixelloid on critically acclaimed Indian films such as 'Sri Rama Rajyam' and 'Businessman'. 'Michael's creative vision has consistently pushed us to new heights,' said Raj Potula, Founder and VFX Studio Head at Pixelloid.
Co-founder and Executive Producer Nayeem Akthar also underscored the importance of this recognition. 'This Emmy win is a proud moment for our entire team and serves as a testament to the growing influence of Indian VFX talent on the global stage,' he stated.
