Several major carriers, including Aegean Airlines, Air France-KLM, and United Airlines, have halted services to destinations such as Beirut and Tel Aviv. Greek carrier Aegean Airlines has cancelled flights to Beirut until Oct. 31 and to Tel Aviv until Oct. 6. Similarly, Air France has paused its Paris-Tel Aviv and Paris-Beirut routes until Oct. 8, while United Airlines has put its Tel Aviv operations on indefinite hold due to security concerns.
Additional suspensions include Lufthansa, Iran Air, and British Airways, among others. These measures come as a precaution to ensure the safety of passengers and crew members in light of the increasing military activity in the region.
