In a decisive move, Ukraine's Parliament has unanimously ratified a landmark minerals agreement with the United States, a Ukrainian lawmaker revealed on Thursday. This ratification signifies a crucial step in actualizing the deal, which entails the establishment of a joint investment fund with American partners.
The parliamentary approval was resounding, with 338 members voting in favor, surpassing the minimum requirement of 226 votes. Notably, there were no dissenting votes or abstentions, underscoring broad political support for the agreement.
Lawmaker Yaroslav Zheleznyak shared the development on his Telegram account, highlighting the historic nature of the agreement aimed at strengthening economic bonds between Ukraine and the US.
