Texmaco Rail Wins Big with New Metro and Railway Projects

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd announced triumphantly on Wednesday the acquisition of infrastructure contracts exceeding Rs 78 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (Maha-Metro) and Central Railway. These projects reaffirm the company's commitment to sustainable development and innovative high-quality solutions.
The Rs 44.61-crore Maha-Metro contract encompasses designing, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning pivotal systems for the PCMC-Nigdi elevated extension of Pune Metro, as stated by the firm. Key elements include a 25kV flexible overhead catenary system and several related undertakings, projected to conclude in 110 weeks.
Additionally, a Rs 33.89-crore project for the Central Railway involves the Ahmednagar-Beed-Parli new broad-gauge line, focusing on a 132kV/55kV Scott-connected transformer system, anticipated for completion within 12 months. The efforts align with the government's emphasis on self-reliance and indigenous advancement, articulated by MD Sudipta Mukherjee.
