Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal hinted at imminent positive developments concerning the proposed trade agreement between India and the United States, once the terms align as fair, equitable, and balanced.
Addressing the Indo-US Economic Summit organized by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Goyal assured that India's negotiations would prioritize the interests of farmers and fishermen.
The bilateral trade pact, under negotiation since March, has completed six rounds of discussions, and Goyal remains hopeful for a favorable agreement.
