This pilot initiative, set to demonstrate the application of hydrogen traction technology, involves a newly manufactured hydrogen train-set and a supporting hydrogen plant in Jind.
Vaishnaw emphasized that cost comparisons with traditional trains at this stage are premature, highlighting the innovation and commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat encapsulated in the world's longest and most powerful Broad Gauge hydrogen train.
