Allcargo Terminals Ltd, a subsidiary of Allcargo Group, announced a significant expansion of its container freight station (CFS) capacity near Mumbai's Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNP), raising its annual capacity from 1.90 lakh TEUs to 3.6 lakh TEUs.
This expansion is a key element of Allcargo's three-year strategic vision focusing on increasing scale, driving digitization, and strengthening infrastructure across India. Jawaharlal Nehru Port serves as a critical hub for India's EXIM trade.
Sunny Williams, Regional Head at Allcargo Terminals, emphasized the strategic and timely nature of the expansion, highlighting enhanced operational capabilities. The upgraded facilities, including increased warehousing and over-dimensional cargo zones, support Allcargo's digital-first approach and ambitious growth plans.
