Odisha Greenlights Rs 4,510.65 Cr Investments for Industrial Growth
The Odisha government approved 23 investment proposals worth Rs 4,510.65 crore, aiming to create jobs for 10,122 people. The projects were sanctioned in a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg. They cover sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, and tourism and will be implemented across 11 districts.
The Odisha government has given the nod to 23 investment proposals totaling Rs 4,510.65 crore, with a vision to generate employment for over 10,000 individuals, according to official statements.
The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) approved these proposals on Tuesday during a meeting presided over by Chief Secretary Anu Garg. The approved projects span a diverse array of sectors, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and tourism, ensuring comprehensive industrial development.
These initiatives will be rolled out in 11 districts, including Cuttack and Sambalpur, as part of a strategy to enhance regional development and industrial penetration across the state, officials confirmed.
