Renault is setting its sights on making India one of its top three global markets by 2030. The French automaker is planning a substantial expansion of its vehicle portfolio to seven multi-energy models. This bold move aligns with Renault's 'futuREady' strategy that focuses on growth, technology, excellence, and trust.
According to Renault's global CEO, Francois Provost, India is a significant player in the global automotive industry, accounting for over 34 percent of the total industry volume growth. With this in mind, Renault aims to launch new vehicles, including a compact SUV under the Bridger concept, ready for production in India next year.
Renault also targets 2 billion euros annually in exports by 2030, integrating India into its global value chain. With ambitions for 50 percent electrified sales by 2030, Renault plans to leverage its E-Tech full hybrid technology as it accelerates its growth in high-potential markets like India and South America.
