Cruise Ship Tragedy: Suspected Hantavirus Outbreak

Two passengers died and a British national is in critical condition aboard a cruise ship hit by a suspected hantavirus outbreak. The ship had departed from Ushuaia, Argentina, and was en route to the Canary Islands with approximately 150 international tourists.

In a tragic turn of events, South Africa's health ministry announced on Monday that two passengers have lost their lives aboard a Netherlands-based cruise ship, suspected to be hit by a hantavirus outbreak.

A British national is also reported to be in a critical condition following the outbreak onboard. The vessel, carrying around 150 tourists from various countries, had set sail from Ushuaia in southern Argentina three weeks ago, bound for the Canary Islands.
