Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced plans to unveil measures to mitigate the impact of the US-Iran conflict on the state. He emphasized economic self-reliance and urged citizens to avoid unnecessary gold imports, highlighting a new gold mine inauguration in Kurnool district as a step towards self-sufficiency.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced forthcoming measures to address the impact of the US-Iran conflict on the state. Speaking at a meeting in Nidamarru village, Guntur district, Naidu assured that the government will announce strategies to safeguard the state within two days.

Emphasizing the need for economic self-reliance, Naidu urged residents to act responsibly in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent austerity appeal. He advised against unnecessary gold imports and foreign travel while highlighting potential domestic gold production.

Revealing plans to open a gold mine in Kurnool district by June, Naidu noted the mine's potential to tap into 60% of India's gold reserves. This, he said, could curb foreign exchange outflow through domestic production, enhancing economic self-reliance.
