Investec Capital Services (India) Ltd Tuesday said it acted as an exclusive financial advisor to RenewBuy on Series B investment led by marquee Indian Financial Services Investors - Lok Capital & IIFL Wealth. Existing investor Amicus Capital also participated in the current round, Investec India said in a statement.

The Series B funding comes at a time of significant growth and diversification for RenewBuy.com, it said. Investec India has built a strong advisory business over the last few years within the Indian VC (venture capital) ecosystem, having advised on over 15 deals in the last few years across sectors and stages including Licious, Kissht, Bizongo, Treebo Hotels, BigBasket, Pepperfry and Quikr.

YourNest Capital Advisors ropes in Nupur Garg on advisory board *YourNest Capital Advisors, a SEBI-registered early-stage fund house, Tuesday roped in Nupur Garg on the advisory board.

A CA and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Business, Nupur has global experience spanning private equity investing, operations and finance in leading global organisations like PwC, Discovery Networks and IFC - an arm of the World Bank Group, said in a statement. She has operated in different South Asian economies where she was instrumental in structuring and implementing complex business transactions and partnerships.
