Pound dives on increased chance of no-deal Brexit

London, Aug 28 (AFP) The pound slumped almost one per cent versus the dollar and euro Wednesday on reports that Britain will seek to extend the suspension of parliament, making a no-deal Brexit more likely.

Britain's currency slid 0.94 per cent to USD 1.2179, while the euro bought 91.09 pence. (AFP) RUP
